## A partnership built on shared intelligence and shared mission.

Quad9 works with many sources for threat intelligence data. These partners provide us with up-to-the-minute data about domains that pose a threat because of malware, phishing, botnets, or other malicious activities. In return, Quad9 provides anonymized volumetric information and the rough geography of the threats — allowing partners to understand the nature and behavior of malicious domains within their own customer base and beyond.

Quad9 may also use vetted open-source threat data in addition to the donated information from partners. We are deeply grateful to our partners for making these resources available to us. Their efforts in identifying threats are what make Quad9 a highly effective solution.

#### Threat Intelligence Exchange

Cybercrime disproportionately affects low-income users, activists, journalists, and emerging markets that lack cybersecurity resources. Quad9 provides the same level of protection to everyone, everywhere — at no cost.

By sharing with Quad9, your threat data protects millions of users beyond your direct customer base. Partners help secure the broader internet — not just their own network or their own customers.

#### Flexible, Confidential Participation

Partners in sensitive industries such as finance and healthcare are not required to appear on the public partner list. Quad9 will always identify the source of a block via our query tool — but partner visibility is managed with discretion.

## Symbiotic collaboration

that makes the internet safer.

Network operators face growing complexity in managing recursive DNS infrastructure — keeping pace with security threats, privacy requirements, and global performance demands. Quad9 exists solely to manage DNS servers. That singular focus means your end users get security and reliability backed by 35+ threat intelligence partners and infrastructure at 260+ locations worldwide — while your team focuses on running your network.
